Players control Marco and Tarma, members of the special operations force Peregrine Falcon (commonly known as PF Team), and
fight through successive stages of intense action. The goal is to overthrow General Morden and recover a stolen weapon, the Metal Slug. Players must eliminate waves of enemies and machines (while jumping over any obstacles in the way) to progress through the stages. However, it's not as hopeless as it may seem—weapons such as heavy machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, and flamethrower, as well as the Metal Slug itself (which appears frequently in the game), will make the fight easier.Minimum
