Merrily Perilly is a game about crises. You
play as Perry, a severely dehydrated man who stumbles into a remote village in search of help, but the inhabitants respond with a strange disregard for your woes. You may think a nearby fountain is a safe way to quench your crippling thirst, but you soon find yourself in need of assistance due to a snakebite. Before you know it, you'll be hounded by bees, defending yourself against bears, cursed by witches, and potentially starting a fire. Will the crises ever end? Merrily Perilly plays like a top-down adventure game where you must resolve the constant dangers that befall Perry by interacting with the townspeople and environment. Through exploration and experimentation, the non-linear narrative branches and intersects into many paths that lead to several distinct endings.
