You are Isabel Hewitt, a headstrong freelance journalist with a penchant for getting things done and taking matters into your own hands. Your close coworker, Jack Meyer, has disappeared, and you haven't heard from him in nearly two weeks. Having worked with him for over a decade, you know this isn't like him.
Jack has been in the outskirts of the Anadyr region to investigate a family who disappeared from Albrecht's estate, rumored to be suffering from a family curse. The house has been abandoned, and now Jack never shows up. Why are there so many missing people in the local area, you wonder.
The local police are reluctant to investigate, so now it's up to you.
In 1968, Martha Albrecht and her husband Albert disappeared from the house they had built near the Anadyr Mountains. The house remained abandoned for over twenty years until savage investors decided to buy it. Emily and Daniel Burkhardt became the proud new owners of the Albrechts' estate in 1994.
After a series of strange and unexplained events in the house, the Burkhardt family also vanished without a trace. With little or no investigation from local authorities, people now refer to the area as being cursed by the Albrecht family.
Unhappy with the perceived lack of action by the local police, she decides to take a trip to Anadyr in search of Jack. Is the Albrechts' curse real or just a coincidence? Is there a serial killer on the loose? What do the police know and what are they hiding?Minimum
