The original Magicka video game was developed by Swedish company Arrowhead Game Studios and released in 2011 for Microsoft Windows, where it gained immense popularity immediately. Like its popular predecessor, Magicka for mobile devices belongs to the action-adventure genre and retains all the hallmarks of that genre. However, the plot of the mobile version has undergone some changes and serves as a prequel to the original. The graphics and gameplay have been somewhat simplified, while Paradox Interactive added several small features geared toward touchscreens and mobile platforms in general. Despite the minor changes to the gameplay, the best aspects of it have been preserved. You will have to travel as a magician through a fantasy world, studying different types of magic, collecting magical items, combining spells or using melee weapons, tapping the screen as quickly and accurately as possible, and destroying hordes of enemies. With each step, you get closer to the main goal: taking revenge on the main villain who seeks to turn the entire world into chaos.
