Duels of the Planeswalkers takes players on a journey through a multidimensional world where they assume the roles of powerful sorcerers known as Planeswalkers, who battle with others for glory, knowledge, and conquest. Throughout their journey, Planeswalkers battle with and against each other in rich, interactive 3D environments. Similar to the Magic: The Gathering card game, Planeswalkers are equipped with an arsenal of spells and creatures that, when used wisely, will aid the Planeswalker's progress through the game. Expanding the game experience beyond the confines of a traditional card game, players can choose to battle against real opponents online. A variety of strategic game scenarios are also available for single players.
