After a fertility crisis irrevocably changed the cityscape, one corporation stepped in to help the residents: Life S. Incorporated, a biotechnology company that claimed to be able to build life from raw DNA, creating fully formed humans with their own thoughts, emotions, and morals.
Their minds, physical appearance, and personality would be derived from their parents' DNA, but the children would be "born" using synthetic bodies. This new generation would be called the S-Human: a new, non-aging life form.Minimum
