Aiming to achieve what Counter-Strike achieved in team combat, Left 4 Dead is an ambitious survival horror game. Running on the Source engine, Left 4 Dead leaves four armed survivors in a world overrun by zombies, who must fight their way out to escape the plague.
Designed for cooperative play, the four players must work together to complete each stage of the game, providing artillery support for each other, sharing ammunition, and rescuing each other when the zombies overwhelm them. In addition to the four human players, there can be four other players among the attacking zombie hordes, seeking to take down the other players. Zombie players may even find themselves becoming one of four "boss" zombies, who have unique powers that can be used to destroy, injure, restrain, tag and track, confuse, or even humiliate the armed survivors.Minimum
