Domaru is a young manga artist just trying to survive after his job was cut short. He joins a group dedicated to learning about spirits, yokai, and the paranormal in order to find new material for his next story. But there's one urban legend in particular that catches his attention—the story of Kurokami-sama.
Domaru's curiosity takes over, but he soon learns there's wisdom in the phrase "be careful what you wish for" when his investigation leads him to the real Kurokami-sama. She hands over her life on one condition—he must hunt down the other yokai, slaughter them, and return them to her. But Kurokami-sama is vain as can be, and won't hesitate to send Domaru to an early grave if he makes even a single mistake.Minimum
