in chaos. After winning the Battle of Tristream, arrogant dwarves sack orc villages, desecrate sacred temples, and slaughter innocents. Ork-Bagir, the greatest living orc warrior, is forced to flee with a few loyal followers. He promises to return even stronger and reclaim his homeland!
Armies of human riders invade the land of Atrexus. A young daemon named Nilin, still mourning the death of her father, the king, and her small unit of loyal followers are all that stand in the way of the invading horde. The ancient castle of Clan Morton is threatened by an army of vampire hunters. Young Dart leaves his home in search of allies among the other dark races. All must join him or perish.
The fates of the three heroes are sealed. They meet deep in the Black Cavern, where centuries ago the ancient evil Light races were imprisoned. The heroes exchange vows and share ancient artifacts, then gather their armies and advance to fight for the survival of their race. They must unite against the light or face extinction!
