Arthur: Legion IX is a turn-based character-based tactics game set in the world of King Arthur: Knight's Tale—a dark fantasy take on the Arthurian legend. A new threat threatens Avalon as the famous lost Ninth Legion of Rome arrives on the fictional island. Their leader, the fallen hero, Gaius Julius Mento, is given a demonic legion by their dead emperor, Septimius Sulla, to find a way out of Tartarus. But when they accidentally arrive in the witch-realm of the Lady of the Lake, Gaius Julius Mento resolves to subjugate the island and establish an eternal Rome there. Play through a Roman-inspired campaign as Gaius Julius Mento, an officer of the resurrected Ninth Legion, as he discovers Avalon. Fight nightmare monsters, challenge Pict tribes, fomorian beasts, and the cunning lord. Experience the power of the ancient faith and Christianity and confront the Knights of the Table, the Knight of the Knights, Ser Mordred, through 15 hand-crafted missions.
Find, rebuild, and protect the only remnants of Roman colonialism on Avalon and choose your path to victory. By the end of the campaign, you will have to make a decision: do you want to become a powerful daemon, or will you reject the power of Emperor Sulla and reclaim your humanity?Minimum
