JoJo No Kimyou Na Bouken: Eyes of Heaven is a fighting video game developed by CyberConnect2 and published by BANDAI NAMCO. It was released on December 17, 2015 in Japan, on June 28, 2016 in North America, and on July 1, 2016 in Europe for the
PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The story, which Hirohiko Araki has skipped, takes place immediately after the events of Stardust Crusaders. Jotaro Kujo and his allies, having just defeated the evil vampire DIO, are suddenly attacked by friends and enemies who have either disappeared or died along the way, and are then approached by the young man Robert E. O.Speedwagon, who possesses a piece of the Saint's corpse that allows him to travel through time and space as well as defeat the evil influence possessed by others, leads Jotaro and his allies on a journey through time, space, and alternate universes, in order to stop another iteration of DIO and his disciple Father Enrico Pucci from obtaining the other pieces of the Saint's corpse. In DIO's quest to finally break free from the Joestar family and achieve his own personal paradise, fighters from all eight parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure appear , as Jotaro travels through time to meet his great-grandfather , Jonathan. Joestar, and his grandfather, Joseph Joestar, while still in his youth, Joseph's illegitimate son , Josuke Higashikata, DIO's son (via Jonathan's body) , Giorno Giovanna , and his daughter , Jolyne Cujoh. While Jonathan and Josuke meet their alternate universe counterparts, the knight Johnny Joestar and John Doe, known only as Josuke Higashikata. Once all the JoJos have completed their tasks, they gather the body parts they have, but notice that one of them is missing. Suddenly, all the Joestars before DIO are transported with an energy-powered world carrier called the Universe Above Heaven, which easily repels their attacks. He uses part of his body to attract all the others to him, before DIO can kill them, as they manage to escape, as he realizes. "DIO" that "Jotaro" managed to keep part of the body for himself. After being transported, Funny Valentine appears to the group and reveals that DIO was unable to take Jotaro's body part because their platforms are still the same type, even after the previous evolution. He expands further, explaining that when Johnny captured him with the Infinite Rotation technique, he used D4C to escape to a parallel Earth to the original universe, where DIO was able to defeat Jotaro, develop his position, and take over the world. After Funny Valentine's failed attempt to bring DIO to his reality to destroy Johnny , DIO decided to invade the prime world so he could defeat him, after Johnny revealed that he had been able to defeat Johnny . Funny Valentine" is about DIO's plan for the group, as they split up in order to retrieve the parts of the "Saint's Corpse" from DIO's followers once again, retrieve the remaining allies who are still being manipulated, and learn the secret behind DIO's evolving situation. After achieving the first two goals but being unable to discover the secret behind DIO's situation, JoJos and Robert E.O. return .Speedwagon goes to Egypt to confront DIO , who is defeated, but reveals that his true goal was to mark the Turtle with the Universe Above the Sky , thus obtaining it and everyone inside, by absorbing most of the Joestars and the souls of their allies, as well as the Saint's Corpse Parts. DIO rewrote the universe to his own liking, but Jotaro and Jolyne were able to confront him, only for DIO to overpower them and take Jolyne's soul in the process, leaving Jotaro alone. DIO managed to land a punch with the Universe Above the Sky and attempts to erase the "Jotaro" only until it fails, as Jotaro reveals that the "Platinum Star", being the same type of holder as the "Universe Above the Sky", has reached above the sky just as he achieved the time of the universe in stopping its abilities before and stopped its erasure with it, leveling the field, as Jotaro remembers Funny Valentine 's warning .
Two duplicates of the same person destroy each other upon contact, using DIO's main arm, which merges with his parallel counterpart and severely damages his hands. The source of the "Universe Above Heaven" gains the upper hand and destroys it in a manner much like the Prime Universe. After DIO's defeat, all realities are restored and Jotaro returns to meet Joseph and a fully healed Polnareff . However, a new timeline is revealed and then formed where his allies were able to prevent their deaths and/or disappearances in the previous timeline, and during the credits, a montage of images shows that this extends to the entire JoJo universe as a new consequence of the new timeline. In a post-credits scene, 11 years after the events of the game, Jotaro encounters an older Koichi Hirose who arrives in Morioh with a young Jolyne he decided to bring, who asks him about the whereabouts of Josuke Higashikata.
