Civil War Ironclad Battlefield Information
. Participate in the battles of the USS Monitor versus the CSS Virginia before battles between armored fleets of steamships and other vessels. The flow of time is organized into rounds. Within the limits of each round, the player and the computer opponent take turns performing all possible actions during five minutes of real-time combat for each of their ships. The moment the selected active ship performs an action, all other game units remain stationary. Decision-making time is unlimited.
Game locations are displayed in a 1:1 ratio and are not divided into cells or hexagons. The active ship's movement path is determined by the laws of physics and calculated using realistic unit speed, size, and shape.
The campaign is based on alternative outcomes of events that assume a more favorable position for the Confederacy in the first two years of the conflict, including diplomatic recognition and the construction of a stronger and more balanced Southern fleet in a European shipyard.Minimum
