Information:
This game was originally released on CD-ROM, Mac, and PC in the mid-1990s.
You can choose one of nine countries to represent in this game. You can also play singles matches against a wide range of opponents by choosing Practice, Quick Match, or Tournament mode. Practice your tennis skills first, then move on to Quick Match, which lets you choose your opponent (pick one of four fictional players) and the type of court surface (concrete, grass, clay). Finally, move on to Tournament mode, where you can choose a host city from around the world and play from the quarterfinals all the way through to the final!
The action is viewed from a third-person perspective, and the in-game graphics are 2D cartoons.

PC Gamer review stated, "But even with all its audiovisual flash, The International Tennis Open is primarily a fast-paced, challenging sports simulation and a solid computer game, rivaled only by Jimmy Connors' Pro Tennis Tour from 1992. It is a shining example of what multimedia entertainment should be."
PC Joker - "It's not for nothing that the CD-i version was awarded the Best Multimedia Entertainment Product in Europe - it's not for nothing that the International Tennis Open is now also at the top of the world PC rankings!"Minimum
