The project from the creators of Skullgirls uses traditional 2D animation handcrafted by artists from Lab Zero Games and Studio Yotta. Hiroki Kikuta, composer of the Secret of Mana soundtrack, served as composer.

The animation here is absolutely gorgeous, and it's worth playing for that alone.
Unfortunately, it's not the latest version of the game. The latest version (version 1.11) has a four-person local co-op mode.
