Get behind the cockpits of the world's best helicopters - from classic 1950s machines to modern 21st-century cannons. Play missions with your friends and compete with players from around the world in various multiplayer modes! You'll be able to participate in a dynamic battlefield where you'll support the movement of ground forces, fortify positions, and create supply lines.
Heliborne represents a major return to an almost forgotten genre - helicopter action games! Here, you'll be able to immerse yourself in historical conflicts, explore maps inspired by real-world locations, and engage in intense air-to-air combat.
By piloting over 40 helicopters spread across 3 different classes, you'll battle other pilots as well as tanks, ground troops, and anti-aircraft guns. You'll test your skill in multiplayer modes, such as Engagement (a king-of-the-hill mode) or Frontier (where bases are captured by players, and ground vehicles appear in convoys and move across the map to fortify bases and positions), or play alone in new single-player missions.
In Heliborne, we wanted to accurately recreate the reality of armed conflict and produce a dynamic and realistic gameplay model. You'll also get the chance to learn more about the development of rotorcraft. The game depicts different historical periods, focusing on the technological innovations that have transformed helicopter combat over the years. For example, the payloads for each helicopter are entirely based on the weapon systems that were or were intended to be used in active combat theaters and operations. You won't see a weapon load on our helicopters that isn't historically accurate!Minimum
