Hearthlands
is a real-time strategy game where you take on the role of a king in your own medieval/fantasy kingdom. You don't directly control your subjects. Instead, you focus on city building, resource management, diplomacy, heroes, magic, and other things the king deals with on a daily basis. The game world, maps, characters, and enemies are procedurally generated.
The game is very flexible: you can build a powerful kingdom and rule the lands with an iron fist, or establish a humble fishing village. Or create a trading empire. Or establish a small but well-fortified outpost or bandit camp. Or become the steward of a wizard's manor.
All characters, from the carrier to the hero, have their own minds and behavior patterns. Sometimes it's just fun to watch people go about their business. Minimum
