Story
Jinbocho, Tokyo
June 1922, Taisho era
rainy season
Tamamori heads to Tokyo with the intention of gaining admission to the Imperial University. However, he doesn't pass the entrance exam, and is overly undisciplined and wrapped up in endless delusions until he is kicked out of the boarding house after only two years. Through a lucky break, Tamamori begins living and working at Amebachido, a used bookstore. There, he enjoys passing the time as an "entrance exam student" and taking advantage of friends who are also from his hometown. But one by one, mysterious deaths befall those friends, and when he realizes he's been repeating the same rainy days over and over again, he finds himself racing through Jinbocho to save them.
