In 1992, the team behind the Harrier Jump Jet created military scenarios around contemporary global tension points. The result is three engaging 10-day campaigns in the Falkland Islands, Hong Kong, and Finland. The Hong Kong campaign pits the RAF's GR5/7s against a variety of rarely seen Chinese fighters, including the Jian-6 and the Shenyang J-8 "Finback."
The game's development team went to great lengths to achieve realism, with an additional focus on modeling the Harrier's vertical takeoff and landing capabilities. They had working sessions with experienced Harrier pilots and military engineers at RAF Wittering.
