Dawn of Blau was developed by Graviteam and released on August 5, 2016.
The first days of the German Operation "Blau" took place in the summer of 1942 in the Oskol River area. The German 6th Army dealt a crushing blow to the line of the 28th and 21st RKKA armies, forcing them to retreat in a disorderly manner to the Oskol River. To prevent units of the German 6th Army from reaching the western bank of the river, the RKKA command redeployed the 91st TBde Brigade to Verkhniya Lubyanka—the last point before the crossings near Volokonovska—with the aim of delaying the enemy advance and, thus, gaining time for the retreat of damaged RKKA units.

Two operations of 6 turns each from both sides (Verkhniya Lubyanka, July 1, 1942).
The terrain is meticulously recreated over 60 square kilometers: mountainous plains with rugged terrain and wide trenches.
