War has been waged across the kingdom of Myrtana. Orc hordes have invaded human lands, and the land's king needs a lot of ore to craft enough weapons for his army to face this threat. Anyone who breaks the law in these dark times is sentenced to serve in the giant penal colony of Kahrinis, where the much-needed ore is extracted.
The entire area, which he calls "the colony," is surrounded by a magical barrier, a sphere two kilometers in diameter, separating the penal colony from the outside world. The barrier can be crossed from the outside in—but once inside, no one can escape. The barrier was a double-edged sword—the prisoners quickly seized the opportunity and started a revolt. The colony became divided into three rival factions, and the king had to negotiate for his ore, not just demand it.
You were thrown through the barrier into this prison. With your back against the wall, you must survive and form fragile alliances until you can finally escape.
