Description: Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a fun multiplayer game for players of all skill levels. Asymmetrical multiplayer battles (local or online) feature four Ghostbusters, equipped with proton packs, capturing ghosts that have chosen to go to a variety of locations. As players progress, they will unlock cosmetic items and upgrades for the hunters and ghosts. Fans of the Ghostbusters universe will be able to make their dreams come true by trying to catch ghosts themselves. No matter who you play, it will be easy and fun!
This is an asymmetrical game of hide-and-seek. As in other IllFonic games, battles take place in a 4-on-1 format: a team of four hunters tries to catch a single ghost. You can play alone or with up to four friends. You'll have the option to play online or in single-player mode with AI-controlled characters.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed features all the iconic equipment from the films, from proton packs to PKE sensors to ghost traps, all of which you can use as a hunter. The ghosts have various abilities in their arsenal: they can inhabit objects, spit snot, and do other interesting things that make capture locations a hell of a lot of fun. In addition, many will be happy to see the fire station, which serves as a base for hunters in the game, and Ray's Occult Books return. Here, players can choose missions, change their character's appearance, train with proton packs, and explore the available options. Most importantly, the actors from the original film have once again provided their voices—Ray Steines and Winston Zeddmore!
