Information:
Jex is a quick-witted lizard with one passion in life: watching TV. One night, while feeding his addiction, the TV goes blank and a large hand grabs it, luring the lizard into the media dimension. Why? Because an evil fly named Reese wants Jex as the network's new mascot! The lizard's mission is to destroy the various TVs and collect enough remotes to escape with his life intact. He must also take down Reese once and for all! Using his powerful tail and deadly tongue attacks, Jex will retrieve hidden remotes in TV-inspired levels including a Frankenstein-fueled Graveyard World, a Cartoon World, a Jungle World, and a Kung Fu World filled with ninjas and sumo wrestlers before battling the evil Reese in his mad nerve center. Originally released for the 3DO, Jex offers a variety of special boosts, hidden treasures, and a load of jokes in this side-scrolling game. The lizard's sucking feet allow him to climb various walls and ceilings to reveal secret control devices and bonus areas. Jex can also swallow several booster bugs that allow him to shoot fire, launch balls of ice, and stun various enemies. Centipede worms boost the lizard's speed, while grubs make him invincible! HBO comedian Dina Gold provides Jex's voice and delivers over 300 jokes, most of which reference movies and TV shows.
