After his victory over Kojiro, Musashi decided to meditate and try his hand at the art in northern Japan, in Hokkaido Prefecture. During one of his meditations, a spirit called out to him: "Miyamoto Musashi, our struggle is not over. I await you to end our struggle once and for all! All of Japan will pay for your humiliation! I await you, Miyamoto Musashi!"
Musashi had no doubt that the voice belonged to Sasaki Kojiro. His body was defeated, but his spirit remained, and his intentions were destructive. Miyamoto Musashi then realized that he would have to travel across Japan from north to south and reach the island of Ganryu-jima, where Sasaki had first defeated Kojiro, to fight again and free Kojiro's spirit forever.Minimum
