You will need to lead a group of survivors to build your base and maintain its basic functions, such as generating electricity or storing food. At the same time, you will ensure the base's security by building defenses and setting traps. You will also need to lead your exploration team into the wasteland to gather supplies (food, water, and raw materials for construction) and complete missions. The characters in Abandoned Fortress are very dynamic in their behavior. They have needs, goals, and personalities that influence their daily lives and decision-making. Some may fall in love, others may not, but they all bring life to the ruined and abandoned world.
Design and build your base to house your survivors. You need to build basic life-support facilities such as bedrooms, storage rooms, and kitchens to meet your survivors' basic needs. You also need to build supporting structures such as infirmaries to treat the injured, or playrooms to keep your team entertained. At the same time, you need to ensure the security of your base by building defenses such as electric traps, sandbags, and bunkers.
