Shishimai Rinka was a high school student who ran a small café called Lion House in place of her grandmother. She lived her life just like anyone else her age, but one day, she was caught in an explosion while walking home on the train alongside her friend, Hitsuji Naomi. In an attempt to save her friend's life, she instinctively protected her the moment the explosion occurred, losing her own in the process. However, before she knew it, she was back at Lion House, chatting happily with her friends as if nothing had happened in the first place.

A few days later, she found herself in a strange world. Here, she met Baraka, a strange girl who claimed to be a goddess. It turned out that she had somehow become a participant in the Divine Selection, a ritual performed over a period of twelve weeks by twelve people, allowing them to compete in order to undo their deaths. However, what shocked Rinka the most, was the presence of her friend Mishima Miharu among the twelve.
In order to survive the Divine Selection, one must eliminate others by gathering information about their names, cause of death, and real-world regrets, and then "elect" them.
This development will lead her to learn the truth behind her death, as well as her own personal regrets. She will also face the fact that Miharu was willing to sacrifice her life for her, as well as the lengths the other participants are willing to go to survive to the end.
Far more trials awaited her than she could have imagined now, but where would her determination lead her once everything was done...?Minimum
