Evan's Remains is a mystery
puzzle adventure game about the search for a missing boy: Evan. The game combines logic-based platforming puzzles with a narrative inspired by Japanese graphic adventure games.
Each time the player solves two to three puzzles, the story progresses and new mechanics are introduced. The challenges of the puzzles lie in the player's ability to figure out what to do rather than solving challenges based on skill. As the difficulty curve increases, the puzzles become more complex by incorporating previously introduced mechanics.
Evan, a boy genius, has been missing for years. One day, a letter signed by him is received, claiming that he is on an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. No one knows why, but he specifically asked a girl named "Desis" to go and find him. The player will become attached to the control of this girl, about whom we know little. As you follow Desis's adventure, questions will gradually begin to be answered. All the small puzzle pieces that initially seemed unconnected will slowly begin to fit together as the truth is gradually revealed.Minimum
