The game takes place in feudal Japan in 1336.
The player takes on the role of a ninja seeking revenge against a corrupt nobleman who ordered the murder of an entire ninja clan in the region. Perhaps the Empress of Gold can help restore balance, unless she has already been kidnapped.
Gameplay Mode 1 - Stealth.
Players can assassinate every enemy soldier, with a combination of deception and quick movement.
Gameplay Mode 2 - Quick Escape!
Players can avoid most troops, with the exception of army chiefs.
