In this fantastic adventure, the player finds themselves in an alternate universe filled with famous historical and legendary figures—who are also all beautiful maidens—and must fight for global domination. In a world where powerful nations roam unchecked and heroes battle for supremacy, the mighty nation of Britannia seeks to unite the world through peaceful means, while the European Union has adopted a policy of aggression and the maritime nation of Vinland thrives on plunder and pillage. Far to the east, the small nation of Zepang is caught in a quagmire of civil unrest. In the midst of all this, our amnesiac hero has a fateful encounter with the heroine of Yamatai, Himiko. Together, they resolve Zepang's internal conflicts and set out into a world covered in the simmering embers of war.
