: Set in the future, where chaotic wars have swept the universe, the world is rife with conflict as giant machines known as Mobile Suits march to war on land and in space. Featuring characters and machines from over 30 years of Gundam anime and manga, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 thrusts players into cosmic battle with over 50 playable and upgradeable characters and over 70 playable and upgradeable Mobile Suits drawn from the Gundam universe. New additions include Mobile Suits from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam UC, and many more. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 also features several gameplay additions to the series, including three brand-new systems—the Partner Strike System, Emergency Dash System, and Recovery Gauge System—that will bring a new level of tactical interaction to the series. The Partner Strike System will enable players to summon partner characters onto the battlefield to assist at crucial moments, impacting their character's current combat engagement or potentially the overall battlefield conditions of their army. The Emergency Dash system will allow players to perform new parry and dodge moves that negate enemy attacks. This system will bring a new level of gameplay, allowing powerful blows to be more easily parried. The new Recovery system enables players to replenish shields during combat, giving players more flexibility in their tactics on the battlefield.
