: DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The Scourge of the World Tree and the Scourge Beneath It comes to PlayStation 4 as a true, large-scale action RPG in this popular series. Created in collaboration with w-Force (Omega Force) from KOEI TECMO GAMES, the game also brings together the luminaries of the series, including Yuji Horii, the general director and founder of DRAGON QUEST; Akira Toriyama, the world-renowned artist who gave the series its distinctive visual style; and Koichi Sugiyama, the author of many of its masterpieces. When a dark shockwave sweeps through the city of Arba, the monsters who once lived peacefully alongside humans are driven into a frenzied rage. As either the hero Lucius or the heroine Aurora, the player joins a cast of beloved characters from previous DRAGON QUEST titles, such as Alina, Bianca, and Yangus, to bring the rampaging monsters to their senses and restore order to the kingdom.
