Daedalic Entertainment, formerly known as "LucasArts of Germany" by GameStar magazine, invites players to a wonderful comedy adventure revolving around the crazy love story of Rufus and Jules. In Deponia, the world has become a giant garbage dump, where the stubborn Rufus lives his painful life. He is part of the lower social class, condemned to live out his life in literal mountains of garbage. He hopes for a chance to enter the world of the wealthy, who live in a floating city high above the clouds. Fate seems to smile on this arrogant loser when one day, the attractive lady named Jules from the upper sector falls into one of the trash heaps. Rufus decides to help the young lady by returning her to her husband. When he notices that Jules' husband looks just like him, he hatches a sinister scheme to reach the upper world. However, things don't go as planned, as he develops feelings for this beauty that border on the unscrupulousness he is used to.
Help Rufus, the poor boy from the junkyard, win the heart of the girl from heaven. Only with this rich girl of his dreams can he escape Deponia and, unexpectedly, save the planet. Minimum
