Originally released by LucasArts in 1993 as a sequel to Ron Gilbert's Maniac Mansion, Arms Day is a cartoonish puzzle adventure involving time travel, as three unlikely friends work together to prevent an evil mutated purple tail from taking over the world!
Now, over twenty years later, Arms Day is back in a remastered edition featuring all-new, high-resolution hand-drawn graphics, along with remastered audio, music, and sound effects (which the original 90s marketing ads described as "insane!").
Players can switch between classic and remastered modes, mixing and matching sound, graphics, and the user interface to their liking. We've also included a concept art browser and recorded commentary with the game's original creators: Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Larry Ahern, Peter Chan, Peter McConnell, and Clint Bajakian.
Day of the Arms was Tim Schafer's first game as co-project leader, and it's a beloved classic! This special edition has been restored and remastered with the care and attention that can only come from involving the game's original creators.
