Information
Since the dawn of creation, the Council has maintained balance in existence. Their orders are carried out by the Dread Knights, the Nephilim (powerful beings born from the unnatural union of angels and demons) who pledged themselves to the Council and were granted immense power. However, this power came at a tragic cost: the Knights were ordered to use their newfound power to wipe out the rest of their kind. The result was a bloody battle in Eden where the Knights, obeying the Council's will, wiped out the Nephilim.
Still reeling from the events of Eden, War and Strife were tasked with a new mission - Lucifer, the mysterious and devious Demon King, was planning to upset the balance by granting power to Demon Lords throughout Hell. War and Strife must hunt down these Lords, gather information, and ultimately battle through a tangled demonic plot that threatens to forever upset the balance and unravel all of creation.
DARKSIDERS: GENESIS is an action/adventure game that tears its way through hordes of demons, angels, and everything in between on its way to hell and back, guns blazing and swords swinging. Genesis gives players their first look at the world of DARKSIDERS before the events of the original game. Furthermore, it introduces the fourth and final knight, STRIFE, as well as co-op play for the first time in franchise history. Minimum
