To help her adjust to this transition, her friend Ayumi devises a seemingly innocent plan: the entire group will gather to perform a spell she found online called "Sakicho Ever After," which is supposed to bond all participants together as friends forever.
However, things don't go as planned.
After a violent earthquake, the group awakens to find themselves separated and trapped in an alternate reality version of Heavenly Host Elementary School, a disaster-stricken institution that once stood on the site of their own school but was demolished long ago. Here, vengeful spirits threaten the lives and minds of elementary-aged children, and the only hope of escape—or even survival—is to uncover the horrific details surrounding the murders of those imprisoned before them.Minimum
