You'll never feel the warmth of the sun under a blue sky, you'll never hear the wind in the tree branches, you'll never swim in the ocean, all because you were lucky to be born on the Ark, bound by a fate you didn't choose. You've never seen Earth, and you won't see Proxima Centauri either. You're doomed to live and die on the Ark in the name of the mission, like your father before you, like his father before him.
The Ark is old. It had been in service for 20 years when it was renamed the Starfarer—a beautiful name for a modified interplanetary freighter. No one is sure if the Ark will actually reach its destination, and no one much cares, since no one alive now will be alive to see it. You might as well just get on with your life and try to make things as good as possible.
Ark Settler is an action role-playing game inspired by Heinlein's novel "Orphans of Heaven." Your character's world is a "Generational Ark," a massive spaceship on a centuries-long voyage to colonize a distant planet. The ship's original government has been dissolved after a violent coup, and you must negotiate a dangerous path between your passengers and the warring factions seeking control of the ship. Your choices will determine who your friends and enemies are.Minimum
