Runner is a retro ASCII-art cyberpunk crime game.
Play as Cheese Runner, a lowlife trader of illegal cheese. Try to survive in a dark, mad world. After a mysterious virus wipes out most of the Earth's livestock, humanity is crushed under the heel of corporate control. Synthetic food providers now control the ability to live for most of humanity. Against this tyrannical corporate control and violent police state, a small segment of the population fights back. With food labs unable to synthesize casein, a key ingredient in milk critical for cheesemaking, the beloved food has become outlawed under the guise of public safety. The intrepid ranchers of the underground land raise livestock to produce this precious substance, but it's up to the Cheese Runners to distribute it.Minimum
