Endurance Mode: There are tales of a place beyond the mountains where hell itself is torn apart. How far can you go before you succumb to zombies, dragons, skeletons, or other enemies craving your blood? Run, fight, and sneak across dry deserts, snowy mountains, and icy expanses in your quest to defeat the final guardians of the abyss. In Endurance Mode, the world is randomized each game, and your team's death is permanent.
Survival Mode: If you enjoy Endurance Mode but prefer building permanent structures and defenses, Survival Mode is where you'll spend your time.
Creative Mode: With streamlined crafting and the ability to control or eliminate enemy threats, Creative Mode is a great place to build vast structures in peace.
Dragon Survival Mode: For those who like their prizes big and their hair blazing and smoking, Dragon Survival Mode brings you up close and personal with waves upon waves of the biggest, baddest, and most powerful monsters in the game. Minimum
