of Juarez is an epic Western-themed FPS adventure game. The player alternates the roles of two distinct and rival characters: the stowaway Billy and his hunted Reverend Ray. In addition to the intriguing emotional and psychological aspect of the bond between the two characters, the player will experience a variety of gameplay styles with many variations while playing as a given character.
The game features fast-paced gunfights with historically accurate firearms, horseback riding, horseback fighting, and stealth actions in memorable locations inspired by Westerns. Emergent gameplay, based on accurate simulations of not only solid objects and puppets, but also liquids, gases, fire, and smoke, makes for innovative and non-linear gameplay.
