Description: Like the Alone In The Dark series, Prisoner of Ice is inspired by the works of Howard Loughcraft. In August 1936, mobilization is in full swing in Nazi Germany, and scientific laboratories are accelerating the development of new types of weapons. But quite by chance, the German command receives mysterious documents indicating that in the South Pole, under a layer of ice several kilometers thick, an ancient mysterious weapon is hidden, which, according to legend, was covered with ice by the gods. Using this information, the Nazis set up the top-secret Schlossadler base in Antarctica. Everything is going well (from the Germans' point of view, of course), but at some point, contact with the base is lost. January 1937. Operation Polaris concludes. The British submarine HMS Victoria takes on board two mysterious containers and the base's sole survivor, Norwegian sailor Björn Hamsun. The containers are kept in special refrigerated chambers, and there are no signs of trouble. Suddenly, the Victoria is attacked by a German anti-submarine cruiser, and the explosion mortally wounds navigator Jones. But worse, there's a fire in the cells, and the crates begin to melt... So, you play as Ryan, a young British naval officer working for the American intelligence services. You're about to enter an unequal battle. Due to a severe fire aboard the Victoria, the melting monster unleashes its tentacles, and Captain Lloyd becomes its first victim. Now the fate of the entire crew rests on your shoulders.
