Broadside is a pirate action-adventure game focused on notoriety and destruction. Players assume the role of pirates engaging in tactical ship-to-ship battles and raiding operations. While targeting trade routes, fighting rival pirates, and harassing the Royal Navy, the thrill of sailing fast and sinking ships is rewarded with notoriety points.
During ship-to-ship combat, players can maneuver their ships to fire their side cannons at their enemies. Once enemy ships are damaged, they can be boarded by approaching and launching their boarding hooks to rush aboard. Ship-to-ship combat involves active defense, evasion, and attack with the goal of defeating the enemy captain and capturing his ship. The combat feels reminiscent of modern action games, but from an isometric perspective.
With over 14 playable ships, 10 characters to discover, and over 20 supported languages, it's available on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Minimum
