A dystopian retro-future adventure. At
the beginning of the 21st century, with Earth's environment continuing to deteriorate and clean food sources becoming increasingly difficult to find, a global famine has turned ancient civilizations upside down. Since then, governments have been responsible for procuring and distributing food to their people, with most borders closed for security reasons.
The year is now 2036. In the city of Eden, every piece of food entering residential areas must pass a series of demanding tests, administered by skilled government workers. You, as one of the new food inspectors, will perform your duties around the clock, alone at a booth. Although it's considered one of the most sought-after jobs in Eden, what you want from it is a little different—escape this besieged city.
