The original Blaster Master game was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, while the sequel appeared on the Sega Genesis. Excluding the Game Boy Blaster Master, Blaster Master: Blasting Again is the third in the series, where players assume the role of Rudy, the son of the main character from the original game. Rudy drives the tank while jumping and shooting enemies in a 3D underground environment.
