Bit Odyssey is designed to be endless... well, endless if you're a good spaceship pilot, of course. Players can choose one direction and keep going, if they so choose. The way you lose, of course, is if you get killed or run out of resources. While traveling, be sure to circle around some stars and collect fuel. Got damaged and need repairs? Visit a mineral-rich planet and extract them, or trade with a local space traveler.
Exploration itself is fun, but during your interstellar travels, you'll encounter "ring triggers" that activate randomly. Triggers are the starting point for an adventure, procedurally generated from a quest matrix. For example, you might stumble upon a plasma trace while traveling between stars. The bridge crew will ask if you'd like to investigate. If you choose "Yes," the game may take you to a ship in distress in an asteroid field, one under attack, or one that has crashed on a planet. From there, your choices affect the rest of the episode. Attacking a damaged ship will make you an enemy of that species, while withdrawing it will make them friends.Minimum
