Howard Lutor the raccoon is a lonely private investigator with experience and self-confidence. Stuck in the routine of the same investigations, he remains indifferent to the authoritarian regime that tightly controls the lives of the city's inhabitants. But a series of mysterious events will test the strength of his worldview.
Backbone's gameplay is a fresh take on the point-and-click adventure, combining stealth elements with branching dialogue inspired by classic CRPGs.
You'll explore the nooks and crannies of Vancouver's walled city, sniffing out clues, solving puzzles, interrogating witnesses, and choosing which path to follow. Inspired by a love of classic cinema, Backbone will immerse you in a dark, dystopian atmosphere filled with the haunting melodies of the original jazz soundtrack.
