Ascended is an interesting approach to the puzzle genre and can be played in both first and third person with keyboard/mouse support and controllers. In the game, levels unlock linearly as players complete room puzzles and direct light beams to the next room, but there is nothing to prevent players from returning to previous levels if they choose. Players use a variety of abilities to help them accomplish these puzzles, ranging from the ability to move forward and backward in time to the ability to manipulate the size, position, and more of objects!
