For a time, the people were united in peace, until one day, the once-righteous king of Albion, Uther Pendragon, blamed magic itself for the death of his queen and thus decreed that magic belonged to the "Old Religion," banishing the practice of magic and its followers from Albion forever.
Darkness now spreads in Albion; the crops die and the waters turn foul. People suffer from hunger and disease, and fewer by the day they have the strength to repel the growing hordes of Saxons invading from the east. It is feared that the Saxons are being aided through dark magic by those who were brutally driven out by Uther, masters of the Old Religion.Minimum
