1926 An astronomy professor is found dead in her mansion. Everything points to her being the victim of a gruesome murder. Choose from 12 distinct heroes, each with unique skills, and assemble a team of investigators to shed light on this mysterious story.
Search for clues, conduct interrogations, and progress through a nine-chapter story. During your investigation, you'll visit iconic locations from H.P. Lovecraft's universe, including Miskatonic University, Arkham Asylum, and the dangerous swamp.
As you get closer to solving the mystery, your team will encounter scientific oddities, waking nightmares, and a terrifying cult whose mad plans are designed to end all life. Use a vast arsenal of melee and ranged weapons, as well as powerful items and devastating spells, to overcome your foes in turn-based combat while trying not to go mad.
During encounters with Lovecraftian horrors, your investigators' mental states will deteriorate, potentially causing emotional trauma that impacts the investigation. Monitor your state of mind and make the right decisions... The great old guard is preparing to return.
