AntQueen 3D offers you a gameplay experience through the life cycle of an ant colony. Each spring, a few queen ants will emerge from their hatching colony and attempt to establish their own colony. The first summer will give your new queen enough time to settle down and give birth to some ants. Year after year, the empire will grow, and the ant colony will gradually take over a territory.
The game offers sandbox challenges and a storyline where you are tasked with controlling a mature ant colony. Each game is different, and you can burrow your colony underground as you please. Search for resources, cleanse your colony of mold, dig collapsed tunnels, and create a pheromone network. Learn how to overcome every challenge your ant colony will face.
A ant colony is successful when each ant is responsible for a specific task. You can breed five different ant classes, each specialized in a specific task. You can also customize each ant to be faster, stronger, healthier, or more resilient. Small caretakers are best for taking care of the ant colony. Workers are fast and useful for gathering food, but they cannot defend themselves well. Borers are strong enough to carry heavy loads. Ants can store food in their stomachs for times of drought. Soldier ants are the nova's special jaws, capable of exploring and hunting other insects. Super soldiers are the nova's outer armor and are dedicated to defending the nova. Minimum
