Overview Information
Alien 911 is a third-person shooter and tower defense hybrid. You can play it solo or join local or online multiplayer. We were inspired by Orcs Must Die, Dungeon Defenders, and Sanctum, games we loved playing together as a family. This is our first game, and we're excited to bring it to the Steam community.
Background
Development of this game began over five years ago as a way to teach my son and daughter about coding. As a family, we were addicted to the shooter/tower defense hybrid genre, and my son was obsessed with drawing aliens. We merged them based on a father's desire to show his kids that they could not only play video games, but also learn to create them, and this was the original genesis of our game. Now that my kids are off to college, I decided to clean up the old game idea and enlist the help of some amazing artists, animators, and indie developers to bring it to life.

Multiple Classes: 4 unique classes each with 3 abilities, 7 turrets, and 4 weapons
Tactical Control: Keyboard + mouse support and

full gamepad support
Play with Your Friends: Up to four of you and your most heroic friends can join and play online, or you and your best friend can play in local split-screen co-op.

Note:

For local multiplayer, one player must use a gamepad and the other must use the keyboard.
Play It Again: Each character has unique loadouts of weapon + ability + turret combinations that encourage class-specific combat tactics. An endless mode will be added soon for even more replayability
