Agony is a first-person horror-adventure game from the Polish company MadMind Studio. The development team includes industry veterans who worked on iconic projects such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Tom Clancy's The Division.
In Agony, the player takes on the role of a tormented soul trying with all their might to escape the depths of Hell. The goal is to recover memories and escape captivity.
Beginning his journey without any knowledge of his past, the hero soon realizes that he can control other souls and even some demons. The special ability to inhabit encountered souls (even lower demons) allows the player to explore the place they find themselves in. When faced with the hostile environment and interacting with other souls, they realize that there is only one way to escape - to meet the Red Queen, who rules this region of Hell.
